Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about Columbus Women’s Rehab? Below are answers to some of the most common inquiries about our faith-based recovery program for women.

What is Columbus Women’s Rehab?

Columbus Women’s Rehab is a long-term, residential recovery program for women struggling with addiction or other life-controlling issues. As part of Adult & Teen Challenge, our program offers a Christ-centered approach to transformation through discipleship, structure, and community support.

How long is Columbus Women’s Rehab?

The typical length of our program is 12 months. This gives women the time and support needed to address the root causes of addiction, develop a strong foundation in faith, and prepare for long-term success.

Is Columbus Women’s Rehab a licensed medical or clinical facility?

Women’s Rehab is not a licensed medical facility. It is a Christian discipleship-based program offering faith-centered recovery, personal growth, and life transformation. As part of the Teen Challenge network, our rehabs have helped thousands of individuals find lasting freedom from addiction through long-term recovery and spiritual renewal. Our rehab for women does partner with Hope Counseling to offer licensed outpatient support to residents who need it.

What is the cost to attend Columbus Women’s Rehab?

Columbus Women’s Rehab is supported through donations and contributions, which helps us keep program costs low. We do not accept insurance, but a modest intake fee may be required. Please contact us for the most up-to-date details about admission costs and scholarship options.

Do you offer detox services at Columbus Women’s Rehab?

No, we do not offer medical detox. If detox is required before entering the program, we can provide referrals to local detox facilities.

What types of addiction or life issues does Columbus Women’s Rehab help with?

Columbus Women’s Rehab is designed to help women dealing with drug or alcohol addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, unhealthy relationships, and other life-controlling behaviors. We focus on healing the whole person—spiritually, emotionally, and practically.

What is the daily schedule like at Columbus Women’s Rehab?

Each day at Columbus Women’s Rehab includes Bible study, class time, mentoring, personal discipleship, work training, and structured activities. This routine promotes discipline, healing, and spiritual growth in a supportive environment.

Can I talk to my family during my time at Columbus Women’s Rehab?

Yes, though contact is limited during the first few months to help residents focus on healing. After this period, residents can communicate with approved family members through scheduled phone calls and visits. Columbus Women’s Rehab also hosts a Family Day at the end of each month, providing a special opportunity for connection, encouragement, and healing together.

Can I bring my child with me?

At this time, Columbus Women’s Rehab does not accommodate children living with their mothers during the program. However, we can help connect you with resources that support mothers in recovery.

Is Columbus Women’s Rehab only for Christians?

No. While our program is based on Biblical principles and includes Christian discipleship, women of any faith background—or none at all—are welcome. Many participants come with no prior spiritual experience and still find lasting transformation.
